We’ve moved to a temporary site nearby

We’re currently based in a temporary blood collection unit while we refurbish the permanent centre. The temporary donor centre is located in the Westfield Coach Park, opposite Car Park A, a short walk from the Westfield playground.

If you already have an appointment, you don’t need to make any changes. Please come to the temporary centre at your booked date and time.

Accessibility

The temporary centre has a few steps at the entrance and there is no ramp or lift access due to space constraints.

If you need step-free access, you can donate at our West End Donor Centre.

How to get to the temporary donor centre

The temporary centre is located in the Westfield Coach Park, opposite Car Park A.

If you are travelling by:

tube: Stratford station provides easy access to the donor centre, a few minutes walk away.
bus: the nearest bus stops are Stratford City, Stratford and Stratford International bus stations, which are all just a short walk away from the donor centre.
bike: secure bicycle parking spaces are provided by the shopping centre and can be found at car park A.
car: please park at car park A - this is a pay and display multi storey car park.

There are temporary roadworks outside the Coach Park which are expected to be in place until the end of May. Access to the temporary donor centre remains available and donors can still enter the Coach Park as normal. Please allow a little extra time for your journey.

Exit Stratford International station via Westfield.
Follow signs for Car Park A.
Continue towards the coach park.
The temporary donor centre is located inside the Coach Park.

Directions to the temporary centre

From the permanent donor centre

If you’ve donated with us before, you may be familiar with our permanent location inside Westfield Shopping Centre. The temporary donor centre is just a short walk away in the Westfield Coach Park, opposite Car Park A.

Start at the permanent donor centre inside Westfield Stratford City.
Leave the shopping centre via the ground floor exit near John Lewis.
Turn right and follow signs for Car Park A.
Walk straight ahead until you reach the zebra crossing for Car Park A.
Cross the road - the coach park entrance is directly opposite.
The temporary donor centre is located within the Coach Park.

The walk takes around 3 to 5 minutes.

From Stratford International station (via Westfield)

Stratford International station provides easy access to the centre, a few minutes walk away.

Westfield Stratford City is located outside central London, near to Stratford and next to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

There are a number of routes to the shopping centre.

The nearest main roads to the shopping centre are the A11 and A12.

Use postcodes E20 1EJ or E15 2EE to be directed to all car parks.

Car park A is the nearest to the donor centre - please note, this is a pay and display multi storey car park.

The donor centre is open on weekdays, evenings and weekends as follows:

Tuesday - 10:20am to 7:25pm
Wednesday - 8:20am to 5:25pm
Thursday - 10:20am to 7:25pm
Friday - 8:20am to 5:25pm
Saturday - 8:20am to 5:25pm
Sunday - 8:20am to 5:25pm
