About our donation venues
We run most of our appointments at 27 main donor centres, where we have permanent teams. These centres are open most days and usually have more appointments available, so you may find it easier to book a time that suits you.

Other places you can give blood
As well as our main donor centres, there are also thousands of temporary community venues where you can give blood.
Community venues
These are temporary blood donation centres in towns and villages around England.
Donations take place in a variety of setting, including church halls, sports centres, mosques, football stadiums and hotels.
We usually visit these venues 2 or 3 times a year, although this may be more often depending on local demand.
These venues can be a convenient option if you prefer to donate closer to home.
