Fewer than two out of every hundred in the UK share your blood type. Since your blood group is so rare, it's very hard to collect, and even harder to make sure we always have enough, so we always need more. And whether its used for planned operations like a hip replacement, in an emergency, or for cancer treatment, you can be absolutely certain that your blood is helping to save lives. As your blood is so special it's vital that you give blood three times a year, so please be sure to keep up your brilliant efforts.
