Yameen Rasul

After graduating with a first in Computer Systems Engineering Yameen has become a high flying IT consultant. The 27-year-old suffers from Beta Thalassaemia Major, a life-threatening blood disorder and every three weeks Yameen has to have blood transfusions. Thanks to these blood transfusions (465 and counting) he's able to lead a full and productive life, without them he would not be here. 'I would appeal to the Asian community’s sense of supporting and helping one another, as each blood donation is saving a life.'
