Anne Welsh, suffers from the painful blood disorder Sickle Cell Anaemia. Whilst pregnant with her first child, Anne had to undergo a blood transfusion. And because of regular blood donors the West Londoner, of African background, was able to give birth to a baby boy. "Thanks to blood donations I have the gift of life."
