Oscar's story

OSCARO_C.

Oscar suffered a rare condition whilst in the womb which caused his blood to be attacked by antibodies in his mother’s blood. He survived to become a healthy little boy, thanks to people like you.

Nisa's Story

Nisa

Thalassaemia sufferer Nisa has been receiving blood transfusions since she was five months old. Her condition means she cannot produce normal Haemoglobin for her red cells and needs donated blood to remain healthy. Nisa says ‘Growing up needing transfusions was hard, but thanks to the wonderful people who give blood, I lead a full and active life.’
